Getting Your Google Speech API Key
Follow these quick and easy steps to get your free Google Speech Recognition API key
Log in to Google
You'll need a Google account to access Google AI Studio. If you don't have one, create a free account at Google Accounts.
Go to Google AI Studio
Navigate to Google AI Studio and accept the terms of service if prompted.
Create API Key
Look for the "Get API key" or "Create API key" button in the interface. Click it to generate your new API key.
Copy Your API Key
Once generated, copy your API key to your clipboard. You'll need this for the next step.
Important: Keep your API key private and never share it publicly.
Add to ShareSpeak
Open ShareSpeak and navigate to the settings or API key configuration section. Paste your API key into the designated field.
That's it! You're now ready to use voice recognition features in ShareSpeak.
